Colors

I don’t want to discuss here in detail which color, how and how it can be created, I would like to illustrate here the colors that occur most frequently and that I also have.

Brown

The classic brown or golden-brown color is the closest to the wild ancestor, there are many variations in shades, from dark brown (wild) to reddish brown, with green or yellow eye color.

Silver

Many people call it gray at first, but officially we say it is silver, if only because even if the fur is glittery, it really shines silvery. It also occurs with green or yellow eye color.

Snow

Bengal cats can shine in three basic snow shades, the snow lynx is the lightest shade, completely snow white, this shade is always paired with blue eyes, the snow mink is a slightly more contrasting version, in this case the eyes are aquamarine, and the snow is sepia, which makes me it always reminds me of the old (1950-60s) dark brown photos, this color is a little closer to brown at first glance, but it is not. The eyes can be green at this time….

Charcoal

Or “coal” as I call it. This is a rare, very special color variant, there can be several versions of it, -silver charcoal, snow charcoal, double charcoal, etc.- but in each case a very characteristic “zorro mask”-like pattern can be seen on the face of the charcoal cats and their noses are usually quite dark .
Depending on which version we are talking about, their eyes can be green or yellow, blue or aquamarine.

Melanistic

This color variant is completely black, a true black panther phenomenon, it is even rarer than charcoal, without the presence of other colors or their eyes are yellow.

In addition to these, there are Bengal cats in many colors, color variations and shades, which I do not want to go into detail here, but the (not quite complete) picture below illustrates how creative nature is in terms of both their colors and their patterns.
